LET’S PULL OUT OF AFGHANISTAN AND IRAQ IMMEDIATELY

Let those Republican-Tehadists have a cow and those war hawks apoplexy.

But we need to do it right away before we waste any more lives and treasure for something as stupid as a war (in Iraq) that was not only unnecessary but that was sold to us based on lies and misinformation. As far as Afghanistan is concerned…we were there in pursuit of Osama bin Laden…now he is dead…what are we waiting for?

We went into Iraq with a vigorous invasion, we destroyed bridges and roads, electric services and military facilities…we have spent the last ten years rebuilding that country at great expense to all of us American taxpayers and that war wasn’t paid for; it contributed billions and billions of dollars to our deficit. We are now asked to sacrifice our safety nets and our well-being to pay for it…no, no fucking way and that is final. Let us pull out completely now and spend that money at home in schools, bridges, roads and anything else that needs it like keeping teachers employed and firefighters, police and healthcare workers and instead of asking the middle class and poor to pay for that war; ask the super wealthy and the corporations…they profited from these wars too as well as having had the best years of prosperity in all recorded history while the rest of us sank into poverty.

While we are at it, we should seriously consider closing down a few military bases world-wide; after all, modern warfare has deemed the traditional foot soldier obsolete and we are paying up the ass to maintain these bases open. Furthermore, we are offering defense to countries that not only don’t need to be defended because they face no threats but also could very well afford to pay for their own military. It makes absolutely no sense for America to borrow money from the Chinese to defend Germany or Japan…they are big boys now.

We should all demand from our elected officials that they take this decision right away…

LET’S PULL THE HELL OUT OF ALL THESE COUNTRIES WHERE WE ARE NOT WANTED OR NEEDED!
