Did you ever give it a thought why people exercise their wishful thinking in the form of prayer where they direct their sight and project themselves?
I have no patience for religion or their fabricated concepts of heaven and hell. Early on in my life I learned something very important and valuable: I was involved in a car accident and I remember going through the proverbial tunnel. That incident gave me more insight than reading the Scriptures 100 times over…it enlightened me and made me understand one basic principle: that is that religion has nothing to do with reality and anything that happens to whatever essence of thought or existence beyond your physical demise…is totally false, a hoax on those who support religion and even become fanatical about it.
Did you ever stop to think that the most painful of injuries to the human body is that of a burn? What if I told you that the pain from that burn will never stop…it would not only be localized to one area of the body but to your whole being…and then if I add to that that this would happen to you if you don’t follow my ideology…for eternity…what would you do?
On the other hand, if you opt to follow all the rules, teachings, dogma, traditions and imposed conformity as prescribed by religion and become a “sheep-follower”, unquestioning and unchallenging then you would enter into a paradise, a state of grace, comfort and happiness…devoid of the earthly pains and sorrows…what would you do? It is no ordinary place…it is even a KINGDOM…how impressive is that? And it has a king…the king of kings, the ruler, absolute monarch and the one who guides us and admonishes us…all powerful, all knowing and at times violent and vindictive.
When I went through the tunnel I realized then that religions were false; I also understood that if any of the essence, soul, spirit or whatever you want to call it…actually survives…then it has nothing to do with the fabricated concepts that religions have instilled upon us. I was actually disappointed, felt cheated and despondent when I had to come back…to face a world full of pain, sorrow and the human condition which is at best a journey through good experiences during youth and increased deterioration with the years…to end up in the same place as everyone else…nobody survives, nobody lives beyond this short biological span that is truly a gift but far too brief.
