Just look at what this judge in Alabama has just come up with
Keith Olbermann in his “worst persons in the world” exposed this asshole religious fanatic judge who has come up with a hum-dinger…he is giving the option to persons guilty of misdemeanors the choice of either going to church for a year or go to jail.
Imagine, if these assholes can do this and they have not taken over our government completely, how long do you think it will be before going to church will be mandatory? That coupled with heavy bombardment of propaganda and brainwashing…from schools to government functions and buildings will make America just a paradise for Evangelical radicals.
I for one would opt to go to jail…if now I refuse to set foot in one of those monuments to ignorance and superstition…I would not do it even if the jail option may sound worse. I find that to be the optimum punishment for someone agnostic or non-Christian…I refuse to wallow in that mud puddle of stupidity and superstition.
Bay Miette Police Chief Mike Rowland, shown standing in front of the Abundant Life Christian Center on Friday, Sept. 23, 2011, is heading up the program starting Tuesday called "Restore Our Community" that gives non-violent offenders the option to attend church or do jail time and pay fines. Alabama Judge Gives Criminals Choice: Go to Jail or Go to Church
Program is only for non-violent, misdemeanor offenders
“A small-town judge in Alabama is giving non-violent offenders a choice at sentencing: go to jail or go to church.
Under a program dubbed "Operation Restore Our Community," the city judge in Bay Miette lets misdemeanor offenders serve time and pay a fine or go to church every Sunday for a year, according to WKRG.com.
If offenders choose church, they can pick the place of worship as long as they check in weekly with the pastor and police. After a year of Sundays in the pew, the offender's case will be dismissed.
Bay Miette Police Chief Mike Rowland says the program could change the lives of people heading down the wrong path. So far, 56 churches are participating. Rowland said the program is Constitutional because offenders get to choose between jail and church.”
