Prophets of doom, the end of days
By Richard de Orizaba
To hear all these neurotic religious fanatics one would think that the end of time is near. Sprinkle in a lot of superstition and erroneous interpretations of the Scriptures and you can almost be certain that our days as a species are all but coming to an end.
When you hear the Jehovah’s Witnesses talk in their frenzy to find validation, they point out at all the catastrophes that are taking place recently and that we have to prepare for the day or reckoning because these disasters more frequently now.
Nothing could be further from the truth. I hate to burst their bubble but a lot of people are pointing at the frequency and severity of natural disasters, plagues, wars and in general a decrease is there for all to see, yet these religious fanatics insist that the world is coming to an end and only 144,000 of them will be “saved”.
With this recent earthquake in Haiti, we have heard all kinds of insensitive, out of the ball park theories as to why this is happening. The Reverend Pat Robertson went as far as saying that it is because the Haitians sold their soul to the devil and made a pact with him that this is now retribution from God.
Same shit is attributed to Sodom and Gomorrah which these fucking Evangelicals would have you believe that it was because of the debauchery of homosexuality that God took vengeance on these two cities. The Scriptures give this as a lesson in excesses and lack of hospitality, not the sexual connotation that religious nuts attach to it.
Let’s take a look at some statistics and we can readily see that indeed these disasters are diminishing:
Republican Rome (500BCE – 27BCE)
| Floods | Fires | Sackings | Sieges, Battles & Riots | Plagues | Total | Calamities per Century |
| 15 | 3 | 1 | 5 | 0 | 24 | 5.1 |

Modern Rome (1900-2009) | ||||||
| Floods | Fires | Sackings | Sieges, Battles & Riots | Influenza | Total | Calamities per Century |
| 0 | 0 | 0 | 1 | 1 | 2 | 1.8 |
The C/C for Republican Rome was 5.1 versus 4.6 for Imperial Rome. That works out to one disaster every 20 to 22 years respectively. There is a slight decrease in the number of calamities for Imperial Rome. If we cast our mind back to the introduction, you will recall that Imperial Rome was described as Sin City. One would expect that if God was punishing sodomy, Imperial Rome would be a prime candidate. However, there is no evidence that God unleashed any additional wrath on Rome as there was a slight decrease in the number of disasters. This seems counter intuitive to the Sodomy Theory, but let’s continue.
Now, this is where things get interesting. If we look at the C/C number for the 1,600 years of Christian Rome, there is virtually no difference in the number of disasters as compared to Imperial Rome. It appears that the presence of the Vicar of Christ in Rome provided no additional benefit for the citizens of the city. Either, there was a lot of sodomy going on in Christian Rome or the Sodomy Theory is utter nonsense. But, let’s not draw any conclusions just yet.
If we are to look at the last C/C ratio for the modern era, we would see that modern Rome had only 1.8 disasters per century (which works out to one disaster every 56 years). That is a marked improvement in public safety over Republican, Imperial or Christian Rome. What is going on here? According to the Sodomy Theory, one would expect an increased number of disasters for a secular society that tolerates homosexuality. But, in Rome’s case the exact opposite happened. How is this possible? Maybe all our modern technological improvements have been foiling God’s plans for unleashing his wrath?
If you would look at the above information, you will notice that Rome experienced a lot of flooding. Every time the Tiber River swelled its banks, many Romans would get flooded out of their homes. This was a persistent problem for centuries. Nevertheless, this problem was solved once and for all in the late 1800’s when water control structures and concrete embankments were installed within City limits. Persistent problems, like fires or plagues, have been dramatically reduced with the implementation of pressurized water supply systems and modern public health care. The two calamities that did occur recently were the Spanish flu pandemic of 1918/19 and the battles for Rome in 1944. Other than these two events, Rome has been a relatively safe location to live despite the modern acceptance of homosexuality.
Now in our days (As the Days of Noah) we share the Miraculous Rapture with you.
King Jesus Christ of Nazareth is coming for us in the Rapture!
Don't Be Left Behind.
As Noah was with his hammer in his hand, building a huge Ark and the people refused to listen.
Just as they do about the Rapture! Now we stand with a Holy Bible in our hand, and hearts telling the people the Rapture is coming.
Understand all the people thought everything was fine, and Noah kept Warning them to prepare, and repent from your sins, but they would mock him, and not believe!
Out of the entire Generation of People only 8 Souls were saved in the Ark from the wrath of Almighty God! Multitudes were Left Behind.
1 Peter 3:20
Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
2012 "end of days" Earth changes predictions
21 December 2012, the end of the world, the apocalypse, the rapture, the end time. God in my humble opinion is not a psychotic showman here to punish the wicked. Redemption from disaster in 2012 is strictly up to us. The Maya (or Mayan) prophecy is interpreted to say there will be earth changes related to weather patterns, earthquakes, tsunamis and other natural phenomenon. We are starting to see patterns emerging now with strange or extreme weather
Around the world. Earthquake swarms under Yellowstone and the West Coast of the US are in the news. Devastating earthquakes have been experienced recently in many other parts of the world as well. We all know of the massive Sumatra tsunami of the recent past but did you know of all the recent "little" ones throughout the planet? I hope we never become too complacent with this type of news; we need to see the patterns for ourselves and interpret them with our own God given intelligence.
If the world is coming to an end on December 21, 2012 as some of these wackos would have you believe, there is not one fucking thing anyone of us can do about it. I say, verily on to thee…bring it on mother fuckers, I am ready…since my conscience is clean, and whatever evil I may have done is minor in comparison to some of these fucking Evangelicals and bigots, then I can rest assured that they will be in hell long before I will. Salvation? Do you think that by becoming a zombie, bible pushing, and religious fanatic your are going to be saved? You are sadly mistaken. When God or the Creator or whatever you want to call it passes judgment on all of us, you fucking religious idiots are going to be on the front lines for God’s wrath because you made so many people unhappy and you hurt society so much.
I remember when I was a child I was at my aunt Nena’s house and my cousin who was a couple of years older than I fell and skinned his knee. He came crying to my aunt and she put some iodine on the wound and said to him: “Now, what did you do to displease God that he should punish you this way?” I was young but even at that age I realized the stupidity behind that question and I said to my aunt: “Come on auntie, he was just being a child”.
Ironically, my aunt had one of the most painful ends with a spreading cancer and when the priest came to administer the last rites, she actually got up from her death bead, stood right in front of him and yelled just a few inches from his face: “Get the fuck out of my house, you bastard, you fucking hypocrite and take your bible and your religion and shove it up your ass”.
After she did that, she said the pain was gone. A few hours later, she fell asleep and died peacefully in her sleep. I suppose this was the way she dealt with her religion and her beliefs.
