But should there not be a line we should not cross?

In Germany they have penalties for those who incite violence and spread hatred. I can think of a few that would be the recipients of America’s persona non grata…like Saint Santorum, Pat Robertson, Newt, Michelle Bachmann, Rush Limbaugh and others…we could fill a couple of 747 airplanes and send them all to Jamaica where homophobia is in fashion…or even Uganda where it is cool to kill gays.

Islamic Cleric: Execute All Homosexuals

Those same homophobes will say to you with a straight face (pardon the pun) that they don't want to execute homosexuals. The truth of the matter is that if we get the theocracy they are promoting, criminalization of homosexuality will be the law of the land and just a step closer to executions. But really, who are we kidding here? Denying someone the rights everyone has or discriminating against them for something that is as natural as heterosexuality itself is just as bad as executing them. There is no difference here...it is like you can't be a little bit pregnant...either you have rights or you don't...the penalties placed are just a matter of degree or severity, it all depends on how homophobic the society is.

Somehow we missed this story when it happened, but last year Germany banned Muslim cleric Bilal Phillips following this speech calling for the executions of homosexuals.

German police officials announced on Wednesday that Abu Ameena Bilal Philips, a hardline Islamic preacher from Jamaica who defends use of the death penalty for homosexuality, had been ordered to leave the country and asked never to return. The officials said that immigration authorities had issued an order - prior to Philips' address to some 2,000 spectators in Frankfurt - instructing the 60-year-old Islam convert to leave Germany within three days, claiming his professed beliefs infringed on federal laws. German law allows for the expulsion of visitors who "incite hatred against parts of the population" or advocate the use of violence against them.

If they have a modicum of decency and bottom line sense they'll cut bait on him too. But Limbaugh, no matter what, won't stay away from hate. The reason is simple. It was hate, insults and personal vilification that put Limbaugh on the talk radio map more than three decades ago.”

As I said in my last post, this human phlegm has been getting away with this crap for far too long and the Republicans refuse to denounce him, divorce themselves from him. But as the saying goes: “the bigger they are, the harder they fall”

NPR: Limbaugh Loses Seventh Advertiser

His retirement to Costa Rica is getting closer…let’s hear it from you, sign petitions, do all you can to get this repugnant human phlegm away from public discourse.

ProFlowers on Sunday became the seventh advertiser to pull ads from conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh's nationally syndicated program in the wake of his charge last week that a Georgetown University law student is a "slut" and a "prostitute" because she believes insurers should cover the cost of women's contraception services.

"Mr. Limbaugh's recent comments went beyond political discourse to a personal attack and do not reflect our values as a company. As such, ProFlowers has suspended advertising on The Rush Limbaugh radio program," the company announced on its Facebook page.

According to The Associated Press, "the six other advertisers that say they have pulled ads from [Limbaugh's] show are mortgage lender Quicken Loans, mattress retailers Sleep Train and Sleep Number, software maker Citrix Systems Inc., online data backup service provider Carbonite and online legal document services company LegalZoom."
