MEGA-CHRISTIANISTS, FUNDAMENTALISTS, EVANGELICALS AND MORMONS PORTRAY THEMSELVES AS NICE PEOPLE.

I am sure some of them are, but most of them are filled with hatred and totally contradict Christian principles.

However, invariably when they are asked detailed and specific questions about race, homosexuality, a woman’s right to choose, foreign born persons, people of other faiths…these will inevitably resort to what their religions teaches them: racism, homophobia, misogynist attitudes, xenophobia and religious intolerance.

There is a hidden, sometimes not so hidden visceral hatred for anything that is not homogeneous, conformist or that fits in with their narrow-minded views of the world and even faith itself. 

These people oftentimes get confused…they make a mélange of criteria ranging from how patriotism and a love for pure capitalism is synonymous with Christianity. They even have the audacity to tell the rest of us how to live, how to talk, how to dress, how to vote and how and who to fuck.

My repudiation of these people is unequivocal because even if they appear to be nice, even if they strive to present themselves as “LOVING, CARING CHRISTIANS” they are not when you examine their beliefs under a microscope. And the problem that brings is that they impart a lot of misery on many other human beings different than themselves and do a lot of damage to our society and in turn our country…you can’t expect much else from people who place their religion ahead of society, country and even family.
