But I have a difficult time wrapping my mind around the idea that Pat Robertson is one.
I mean, a prophet along the lines of those you find in the Scriptures…honestly, I have a hard time accepting those also…they were the David Koresh and Jim Jones of their day. I think it takes testicular fortitude and a very shameless sense of honesty to claim you talk directly to the Creator. It is delusional if he really believes this crap; however, I think he knows better and is just doing it for his fund raising through the fucking 700 Club.
Robertson related a few things that God told him today on the “700 Club.” God said (through Pat Robertson):
“Your president holds a radical view of the direction of your country which is at odds with the majority. Expect chaos and paralysis. Your president holds a view which is at the odds with the majority… This is a spiritual battle which can only be won by overwhelming prayer. The future of the world is at stake because if America falls, there’s no longer a strong champion of freedom and a champion of the oppressed of the world. There must be an urgent call to prayer”.Before reading God’s statement on the air, Robertson said that he was told not to share who was going to win the 2012 election.
Robertson said:
“I think He told me about the next president, but I’m not supposed to talk about that so I’ll leave you in the dark.”
This is only the latest of a myriad of stupid and crazy shit statements that the Living Prophet Robertson has uttered during his long career as a purveyor of hatred, division, racism, homophobia and all around stupidity.
