“Newt Gingrich's mind is in love with itself. It has persuaded itself that it is brilliant when it is merely promiscuous. This is not a serious mind. Gingrich is not, to put it mildly, a systematic thinker. His mind is a jumble, an amateurish mess lacking impulse control. He plays air guitar with ideas, producing air ideas. He ejaculates concepts, notions and theories that are as inconsistent as his behavior. He didn’t get whiplash being a serial adulterer while impeaching another serial adulterer, a lobbyist for Freddie Mac while attacking Freddie Mac, a self-professed fiscal conservative with a whopping Tiffany’s credit line, and an anti-Communist Army brat who supported the Vietnam War but dodged it.”

He expanded on Dickensian remarks he’d made recently at Harvard, where he said “it is tragic what we do in the poorest neighborhoods, entrapping children in child laws which are truly stupid,” adding that 9-year-olds could work as school janitors.

“Really poor children in really poor neighborhoods have no habits of working and have nobody around them who works,” he asserted in an ignorant barrage of stereotypes in Des Moines. “So they literally have no habit of showing up on Monday.”

Has he not heard of the working poor? The problem isn’t that these kids aren’t working; it’s that they don’t have time with their parents, who often toil day and night, at more than one job, and earn next to nothing.

Newt’s the kind of person whom child labor laws were created to curb. He sounds like a benign despot with a colonial subtext: Until I bring you the benefits of civilization, we will regard you as savages.”

He’s Belgium. The poor are Congo.

The problem I see is that the America he and his rich peers love is not the same America that we, the 99% love and which is characterized by that ever enduring “AMERICAN DREAM”. Clearly this asshole has no clue what the rest of America is going through and doesn’t have the stomach for the plebian, lazy, dirty hippies that want to stop him and his corporate donors from instituting a complete, tyrannical and repressive THEOCRATIC-PLUTOCRACY.

Good luck asshole, I hope you get the nomination because it is just going to be so much easier for the otherwise aloof American voter to see right through your hypocrisy.We the American people are not going to let you or anyone considering voting for you that you were the only Speaker of the House to be reprimanded and censored as well as having to pay a $300,000 fine for ethical violations and a lot more.

Just think about what his solution to re-energize the economy is: to get rid of unionized janitors and replace them with child labor instead he pronounced during a Q&A session at Harvard:

“This is something that no liberal wants to deal with,” Gingrich said. “Core policies of protecting unionization and bureaucratization against children in the poorest neighborhoods, crippling them by putting them in schools that fail has done more to create income inequality in the United States than any other single policy. It is tragic what we do in the poorest neighborhoods, entrapping children in, first of all, child laws, which are truly stupid.

“You say to somebody, you shouldn’t go to work before you’re what, 14, 16 years of age, fine. You’re totally poor. You’re in a school that is failing with a teacher that is failing. I’ve tried for years to have a very simple model,” he said. “Most of these schools ought to get rid of the unionized janitors, have one master janitor and pay local students to take care of the school. The kids would actually do work, they would have cash, they would have pride in the schools, they’d begin the process of rising.”

By the way Mr. Gingrich, we don’t buy the role you played in Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac telling us that you were a “HISTORIAN”…you were a fucking LOBBYIST. All the history majors I know who graduated with accredited degrees and knowledge of history are working as high school history teachers and they will never earn not even near a low percentage of what you took from being a lobbyist.

By all means Newt, let’s just fire all the janitors and while we are at it do as Wisconsin’s Governor has done and decimate all labor unions…that will revive the economy and all of our troubles will be gone…lower taxes for the rich and get rid of all regulations while crippling government by starving it of revenue…It will work, it will work for the 1%...for the rest of us…not so much.

Here is an idea for you Mr. Gingrich: Let’s replace all nurses, firefighters and police with youngsters making less than minimum wages…that will square well with your perverted ideology, wouldn’t it?
