SAME SEX MARRIAGE IN WASHINGTON STATE ALMOST A REALITY

The Christianist Evangelicals are having a collective cow

Today, the Senate of the State of Washington went ahead and voted to approve SB 6239 by a vote of 28-21 which positions the state to be just a few days away from becoming the eighth State to extend Marriage Equality for same sex Americans. A companion bill in the State House of Representatives (HB 2516) is also expected to pass by a comfortable margin and the best part is that the Governor of that state chris Gregoire has indicated that she will indeed sign the bill once it arrives on her desk
