We have seen our share of these wishful thinking, mean spirited religious fanatics…and you know what? Their God hasn’t answered their prayers to hurt someone they despise.
“According to the Huffington Post, the Twitter account for a Christian entity called “Christians for a Moral America” has posted several messages to the social network regarding the ill health of pop icon George Michael.
A user who goes by ‘Keith’ in Minnesota operates the GodsWordIsLaw Twitter account and posted several inflammatory messages on November 26th wishing for the 48 year old ‘Faith’ singer’s death.
“Apparently George Michael has AIDS. Figures since he’s a homosexual and it goes with the territory. Another sodomite bites the dust?” the first of three Saturday tweets read.
“Once George Michael bites the dust, it’ll be the perfect time to roll out new anti-sodomy ads. This lifestyle is clearly dangerous” read another tweet. “Pray for George Michael’s demise. He has chosen a satanic lifestyle and must meet an appropriate end” read the final tweet on the subject before the user became embroiled in several arguments with Twitter users responding to the offensive material.
However, Christians for a Moral America seems not to be an organization at all, but a conservative blog run by a single user on Google’s Blogger platform.
The blog only dates back to November 2, and describes itself as “a new organization which aims to help protect religious liberty and uphold Christian values in America.”
However, much to their chagrin, George Michaels’ health continues to improve…what a disappointment it must be to Christianists to realize that God doesn’t answer your prayers.

Does this mean that God does not favor one denomination over the other? Or does it mean that prayers to harm others do not set very well with the Creator?
There are no limits to their wishing harm to people and causes they dislike; President Obama has had more than his share of these so called prayers as well as members of Congress like Barney Frank and Nancy Pelosi.
And it begs the question that these religious fanatics would classify as heretical and blasphemous: Could it be that God doesn’t answer these prayers because his son Jesus was gay?
