EMPLOYING APPEASEMENT, APOLOGETIC – IS THAT WHAT YOU THINK OUR PRESIDENT IS DOING?

Get over yourselves Republicans you can’t sell that premise that you are the only ones who will keep America safe any longer, if anything our country is less safe and poorer when you are in power.

We have seen how after 9/11 when an overwhelming majority of the people in this whole world had empathy for America only to have one man and his party turn that feeling around and convert it into hatred and distrust. It is not a coincidence that this happened nor is it some kind of anti-American world-wide campaign; no, no, no, it happened because of our President’s arrogance, it took place because we insisted in being a bully, it was apparent when we invaded a country that had not attacked us, nor did it represent a threat to us and we just didn’t mislead the world to justify that war, we downright lied about it.

Now the Republicans are saying that the President is weak in international diplomacy, that he is a failure because he is apologetic when he should be a bully, they are saying that he is using APPEASEMENT as if he was caving in to the terrorists.

Yet, who has gone after terrorists with a vigorous resolve and actually has ended up killing many of them including Osama bin Laden? Ironically, this very President these right-wingers accuse of being in agreement with the terrorists and being a secret Muslim…why would he kill his own?

Perhaps most of the world sees what we don’t…perhaps they had seen it all along. Do we exercise our military muscle, rattle sabers and actually engage in boots on the ground armed invasions to defend DEMOCRACY? No, no, no…we do it because we are protecting the interests of large corporations, we do it because we have to promote the wealth of the military industrial complex, we do it because we are so arrogant as a nation that we want everyone to give in to our needs and ambitions…and it makes no difference how we get there. We have bribed and defended dictators, ruthless rulers and tyrannical oppressors of their own people in order to do business and make a profit.

Reagan arguably the second worst of all our Presidents was credited for starting this arrogant, bully of the world approach. (Remember Grenada, Iran-Contra?)

We wanted cheap oil and we wanted to control the Iraqi oil fields, we wanted to manufacture more planes and more bombs and we did it for the sake of fucking GREED…we did all this to benefit HALLIBURTON and BLACKWATER, EXXON-MOBIL, SHELL OIL and BP and a myriad of other special interest that profit from arm conflict.

President Obama is facing a very tough challenge for his re-election come next year. It is no accident that the unemployment rate is so high…nor is it a coincidence that the JOB CREATORS haven’t created any fucking jobs since Bush gave them that obscene tax cut. There is no connection between reality and the suffering of the American people and those in Congress…it is their quest to oppose any and everything that President Obama and the Democrats propose…even at times when it had been their own ideas. It is a concerted effort to undermine, discredit and oppose any real economic recovery…it is downright SABOTAGE…and these people who claim to be Christians and patriotic are even praying for the demise of our President.

A great many of us are left wondering what it is that these Republicans find so terribly flawed with our President other than the color of his skin…they can’t, they won’t, they will not accept the fact that there is a competent black man running the country from that White House.
